Kate Middleton wears pink sequin The Vampire’s Wife dress in Belize

The Duchess of Cambridge dazzled onlookers last night when she stepped out in a floor-length sequin gown in Belize. The royal is currently taking part in a tour of the Caribbean with her husband, Prince William, in celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The pair attended a special reception hosted by the Governor General of Belize at the Mayan ruins in Cahal Pech, which celebrated the very best of Belizean culture. Following their time in Belize, the couple will travel to Jamaica, before completing their tour in the Bahamas.
For the occasion, Kate turned to one of her favourite eveningwear brands, The Vampire’s Wife, stepping out in a shimmering iridescent silk-chiffon dress. While the duchess is no stranger to a glittering gown, the colour was a departure from her usual comfort zone, in the form of a vibrant Barbie pink. The elegant style, known as The Light Sleeper dress, features frilled sleeves, and ties around the waist at the back for a flattering silhouette.

While Kate’s exact version is sold out, the style is still available to shop in various floral colourways.
She paired her gown with gold statement earrings by South Asian label Onitaa, an embroidered clutch bag and silver Jimmy Choo sandals, and eschewed her usual bouncing blow-dry in favour of keeping her hair sleek and straight.

Kate previously wore a similar style dress by The Vampire’s Wife, in a metallic emerald green, during a trip to Dublin in March 2020, just before the global lockdowns started to come into effect.
