Breaking: 2 accused in Mumbai cruise ship drugs’ case granted bail by NDPS court, first to get relief

One of the accused in Mumbai cruise ship drugs’ case, Manish Rajgaria, has been granted bail by city-based special NDPS Court. Avin Sahu, another accused, have also been granted bail. They are the first persons to get bail in this case.

Bombay High Court has adjourned Aryan Khan’s bail plea hearing till tomorrow 2.30pm.

Aryan Khan’s lawyer Mukul Rohatgi told Bombay HC that WhatsApp chats recovered from the 23-year-old’s phone by the NCB have “nothing to do with the cruise terminal incident.” The former Attorney General of India said that these chats are from before the raid happened, which the central agency is using to say that Aryan had knowledge of the presence of drugs on the ship and was also dealing with relevant people.
