Centre nudges 5 poll-bound states to exponentially increase testing, vaccination

Govt fixes a 9-month gap for 3rd vaccine dose, says will send SMS alert

India has at least 137.5 million persons above 60 years of age, official data show, who could be potentially eligible for an additional dose. They can register for the third dose after nine months elapse from the date on which they were administered their second shot.

Uttarakhand government announces night curfew amid Omicron threat
