    Maharashtra reports 50 new Omicron Covid-19 cases, Pune city adds 36 to tally

    Maharashtra reported 50 new cases of the Omicron Covid-19 variant. Pune city added the most to the tally with 36 cases. Of the remaining, eight cases were from Pimpri Chinchwad, two each from Pune Rural and Sangli, and one each from Thane and Mumbai.

    With this, the Omicron tally reached 510 in the state.

Kerala reported 45 more Omicron Covid-19 cases as the state’s tally reached 152. Also, 2,802 fresh infections of the coronavirus disease were reported from across the state.

Goa aims to vaccinate all between 15 and 18 years of age in 4 days from Monday

Goa health minister Vishwajit Rane on Sunday said that the state has received the required number of vaccine doses and intends to administer the first dose of the vaccine to all 72,000 beneficiaries in the particular age group within three or four days starting Monday.
