    Maharashtra reports 11 new Omicron cases, 8 detected during Mumbai airport surveillance

    Maharashtra detected 11 new cases of Omicron variant of Covid-19 virus on Tuesday. Out of these, eight patients were found at the Mumbai airport surveillance while the rest one each from Pimpri Chinchwad, Osmanabad and Navi Mumbai area.

    Till date, a total of 65 patients infected with Omicron virus have been reported in the state.

    Of this, 34 patients have been discharged after negative RT-PCR report.
