    Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Thursday inaugurate the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, which will showcase the contributions of all PMs of India. 

    “At 11 AM tomorrow, April 14, the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya will be inaugurated which will showcase the contributions of all our PMs. This programme is taking place when India is marking Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. I would urge everyone to visit the museum,” Modi tweeted.

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Wednesday interact with personnel of the air force, the army, NDRF, ITBP, local administration and civil society who were involved with rescue operations at Deoghar ropeway accident in Jharkhand, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) tweeted. 

    At least three people died and 63 others were rescued after the 766-metre cableway connecting to a pilgrimage site on Trikut hills developed a snag on Sunday, leading to a collision between two cars.

CBI makes first arrest in Bengal Congress councillor’s murder; eatery owner held

Four people, including Khan, Singh, Tapan Kandu’s elder brother Naren, and the latter’s son, Dipak, were arrested by the Jhalda police. Dipak Kandu, who unsuccessfully contested the Jhalda civic body polls on a Trinamool Congress (TMC) ticket against his uncle, was the first person to be arrested on March 15.

NCB suspends 2 officers who were part of Aryan Khan probe

NCB director general S N Pradhan said suspension of the two officers has nothing to do with the Aryan Khan probe but for procedural and vigilance lapses in a separate matter. 13 killed in Assam over one week after eating poisonous mushrooms

The people were from Tinsukia, Charaideo and Dibrugarh districts of Assam. Most of them belong to the tea-garden community and consumed the mushrooms at different places on separate occasions.

Cabinet approves scheme to help rural India achieve UN SDGs

The scheme worth 5,911 crore is aimed at empowering 2,78,000 Panchayati Raj institutions, or elected rural local governments, to implement a set of social goals which the UN has deemed necessary for sustainable development.

SC calls diversion of disaster funds by Andhra ‘serious’, seeks response by Apr 28

The order was passed in an application moved by former state legislator Palla Srinivasa Rao, belonging to the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). As the Supreme Court is considering the issue of Covid ex-gratia payment of 50,000 to be made out of the SDRF accounts of each state, Rao brought this issue to the notice of the Court as it amounted to diversion of the money meant for Covid-19 relief.
