Probe into Bengal cattle smuggling picks up after ED arrests key accused in Delhi

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) the ED are conducting parallel probes into the alleged involvement of several Border Security Force (BSF), Customs and police officers, smugglers and politicians in cattle smuggling along the West Bengal-Bangladesh border. The probe was started by the CBI in 2018.

In Kerala actor assault case, survivor allowed to implead on Dileep’s plea

The fresh case relates to an alleged conspiracy to attack investigating officers who probed the actor assault case of 2017. The case took another turn last month after director Kumar claimed that Dileep hatched a conspiracy to do away with officers who investigated the case and he was also in possession of the woman actor’s assault video.
